Dr. Scott Kandell grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ. He attended The American University in Washington DC and graduated in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Biology. He then graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 and has been practicing in NJ ever since.

Although he enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, three of his professional interests include dermatology, ophthalmology, and soft-tissue surgery. Currently, Dr. Kandell treats dogs and cats, but he enjoys reptiles, birds and wildlife as well.

Dr. Kandell is a firm believer in client education. In addition to explaining medical information to clients, he likes to create detailed 'Photo Cases' of interesting surgeries and procedures. These 'cases' are posted periodically on our Facebook page.

Some of Dr. Kandell's interests outside of work include health & fitness, working out, and playing table tennis. He lives in Mount Laurel, NJ with his cat.
