Dr. Margie Elder was born and raised in northern NJ. Dr. Elder received her BS in biology from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. She then went on to teach high school biology, while she worked toward her master's degree in biology at Rutgers University. She later decided to follow her dream to become a veterinarian. She is a graduate of Ross University Veterinary School. She spent time at Purdue University Veterinary School doing clinical rotations. 

Dr. Elder's main interests are small animal medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She enjoys watching your pets grow into adults and caring for them through all life stages. 

Dr. Elder lives in Mount Laurel with her son, RJ, and her cocker spaniel mix, Nina. She enjoys being a “soccer mom”. In her free time, Dr. Elder enjoys cooking, concerts, movies and spending time with her family.
